Each FlamMap project is contained in a seperate window, the Project Window, which can only have one landscape. The project window is divided into two parts,

• the right-hand display pane, which displays the spatial information of the project, and
• the left-hand tree pane, where you add spatial information, control what is displayed, create analysis areas and runs.

Items in the FlamMap tree can be expanded by clicking a where displayed. A indicates that section can be collapsed by clicking. Right-clicking any of the tree items brings up a shortcut menu showing the commands available for that tree item.
